💫 Re-introducing Tummy Time with Cobra on Elbows 💫

As kids we regularly spend time on our tummies, whether it is to play, read, write, draw or color. As we grow older we frequent this position less and less, even though it has so much to offer our bodies.

✅ It promotes extension of the whole spine, helps the lower back relax, activates the muscles in our upper back and counters the tendency for hunching in our neck and shoulders.

The hand position also promotes correct wrist alignment and stability, something that is increasingly relevant with the repetitive movements we perform with our wrists while doing office work 💻.

So, go ahead and use Cobra on Elbows as a movement supplement to reintroduce all that

tummy time goodness to your body 😋.

This ecise is great for people who have rounded shoulders, a forward head position, pain in the wrists, hips, lower back, neck or anywhere near the shoulder girdle. Please always remember: if an ecise triggers pain for you, stop doing it! Rather contact me for a session so we can design a posture alignment menu that is tailored to your body and your needs.
