Restore Pelvic Stability with this Gentle Hip Stretch - Hip Cross-Over with Palms Down

One of the primary ways your body compensates for musculoskeletal issues is rotation, where one of your shoulders shifts more forward than the other or one hip comes to sit more forward than the other. While it’s hard to spot - a lot of people walk around with a rotated pelvis and you might be one of them.

In this video I show you how to do the Hip Cross-Over Stretch, one of my personal favorites. This exercise gently releases trapped tension in the pelvis, allowing it to return to its balanced alignment. If you find relief in this stretch, you may have unknowingly carried a rotated pelvis for some time!

Just keep in mind that addressing the compensation alone is not a complete solution! Posture Alignment is a process as we peel back the layers of compensation to be able to address the underlying dysfunctions. If you’re curious about your body’s alignment and how it might be contributing to pesky pain-symptoms or restricted mobility, don’t hesitate to whatsapp me on +507 6513 5101 or book a session online!
